:: LIBRARY ::

The Vidyalaya is equipped with library with a variety of reference books. It has over 8000 books at present on different themes and disciplines. The school is subscribing a good number of periodicals, journals and daily newspapers, which are duly displayed in Library hall for students and staff members. Class room library also functions in Primary section to inculcate the reading habits in children from their early stage of schooling.

:: LABORATORIES ::

Well equipped laboratories are also maintained for practical purposes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, for the students of Senior Secondary section. A Junior Science Laboratory is also maintained to develop among the students of Classes VI to VIII – the ability to learn by experimentation and nurture reasoning ability in them.

:: MUSIC ROOM ::

The Vidyalaya also upkeeps a well set up Music Hall. The music experts endeavour to draw out the finer emotions of music in students by teaching them basics of this fine art. The school orchestra delivers its performance during the National Functions, School Functions and Morning Assembly sessions everyday.

:: ACTIVITY ROOM ::

An activity room is also functioning in the Vidyalaya, where activity based teaching is conducted, especially for students for Primary section. This is done, to encourage the students to learn by actively involving themselves in the teaching –learning process through learning by doing method.

:: NEWS ::

The daily schedule of the school begins with Morning Assembly at 8.00am in Winter and 7.30 am in Summer. The Morning Assembly is led by the School choir group. The prayer is followed by the Pledge, Thought for the day, News Headlines and Special Information for the day. Special information is according to the occasion of the day in which students presents various programmes like Speech, recitations, Bhajans, Patriotic Songs, Quiz Programmes, Shlokas, Dramas, Radio Shows etc. To inculcate moral value in students, a teacher delivers a speech on moral values for 2 minutes in the morning assembly everyday. It is noteworthy to mention that the students present Morning Assembly programme in Sanskrit every Saturday. The School has 9 periods everyday. The last 2 periods of all Saturdays are meant for conducting Co-curricular Activities – in which a variety of cultural and literary competitions are organized for the students.
